Across my artistic, academic, and professional work, I focus on developing innovative, accessible systems that translate complex cognitive and emotional processes into practical tools for real-world use.

Professionally, I am the founder and director of the NeuroScouts Foundation and the founder of NeuroScouts LLC. I design and lead educational programming at JT Moore Middle School within Metro Nashville Public Schools, where I develop and implement curriculum for neurodivergent youth focused on communication, executive functioning, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy. My work integrates research-based frameworks with creative, narrative-driven approaches to learning, including gamified and role-playing structures that increase engagement and retention.

I am the 5th Youth Poet Laureate of the Southern United States, a Presidential Scholar in the Arts, a YoungArts Winner in spoken word, and a Davidson Fellow Laureate. My work has been recognized by Americans for the Arts, where I served as a Round Table Fellow and National Arts and Humanities Month Ambassador.I hold a degree from Swarthmore College, where my academic work focused on spoken word pedagogy, religion, and education. I am a Certified Autism Specialist (CAS) and a Board Certified Cognitive Specialist (BCCS), with additional training in trauma-informed care, Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA), QPR Gatekeeper suicide prevention, and Psychological First Aid (PFA).
